Many of you probably know my shameless shilling for t-shirt design giant Threadless. Did you notice no linkie there? That’s because I have been WAY underwhelmed with their printed designs of late. There is a certain sameness and safeness to everything. So now I am all ’bout Design By Humans. Same basic concept – but a little bit younger, little bit fresher – and much larger prints.
Check out Issuu – a page-turning interface for displaying magazines, PDFs and all kinds of material you’d normally find in print. You can even upload your own to share. I’m sure that someone would call this the Youtube for printed matter.
As much as I hate lifting content from BoingBoing, this was a blast from my past. Growing up in Oregon, I remember these commercials – and assumed they were national spots rather than local. Now I’m even more impressed with the Trunk Monkey.
