Ivan Dimitrov and Ola Podrida

10:35 am | writes:

The brilliant Ivan Dimitrov and Ola Podrida have returned with another music video collaboration (under the direction of the equally brilliant Todd Rohal), with “The Closest We Will Ever Be.”

Believe it or not, this is a far more laid back video compared to their epic “Lost & Found”

Box-less Turntable Old News

While the previous post is kind of cool it’s by no mean a new idea. My mother has had a Mikiphone for as long as I can remember….. ok, ok so there is no USB port.

Box-less Turntable

4:12 pm | writes:

Crosley finally breaks out of their mold of making vintage-looking turntables with their new Revolution player. The unit sheds the usual box in a minimal & beautiful way. There’s even a USB port for connecting the player to your computer (for easy digitizing of your old vinyl). Nice.

Google Envelopes

I love the idea of Google Envelopes — where the route between sender & recipient is printed directly on the envelope. Too bad it doesn’t exist yet.

But, for something close that DOES exist, try Map Envelope — where you print your own envelopes lined with Google Maps and custom messages.

Today everyone is supposed to go barefoot to support shoeless kids around the world. Tom’s shoes donates one pair for every pair bought to kids around the world. A good cause to go barefoot today.

KFC to Customers: “Shuffle Off Mortal Coil”

11:17 am | writes:

KFC is introducing a new bacon & cheese sandwich on April 12th. Unlike their competition, they’ve decided to replace the good-for-nothing “bread” found in most sandwiches with two heart-challenging slabs of fried chicken.

It’s almost as if KFC is trying to weed out the weakest of their customers through a deep-fried version of “survival of the fittest.” Could they be building a heartier than average loyal following? I don’t know, but I am beginning to think we should be somewhat afraid.
