Witness the palpable horror of Der Gummi Cube! 4 lbs. of gummi bears melted down into one solid brick of gummity goodness/badness.

Screw chocolate and peanut butter! Here’s two tastes that REALLY go great together: John Carpenter’s "Big Trouble In Little China" and "South Park". Clickie here for the goodness!
Enjoy the latest incarnation of the Grow Cube puzzle – a sequential animated treat.
Writer, Michael Alan Nelson is posting his new novel "Dingo" on-line in weekly serialized chapters. Only the first two are available so far, but it looks promising – a fun, Elmore-Leonard-ish ride – but be warned, it’s both pulpy and profane.
My lovely bride-to-be and I are very excited. We were already planning a trip through Northern Italy in the spring for our honeymoon, but we have now received a bonus destination: A Giant Pink Bunny!
As many of you may already know, today, September 19th is National Talk Like A Pirate Day! For an example of getting into the spirit, check out the news links at the bottom of IMDB’s home page. Mike and I have both made our affection for Chi-Town based T-shirt company Threadless very plain. But this deserves additional mention. They have created a special design called "Regrowth" to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. They had a matching goal of $50,000 – for every $10 shirt purchased, they donated $20. Now with the goal met, they are "just" donating the $10 cost of the shirt. I don’t know how much money they are losing on this – but it needs to be said. Thems is good people.

For those that do not know – the animation world lost one of its quiet pillars last weekend – Pixar’s Joe Ranft, who died in a horrible auto accident. I know that it ain’t exactly "internet fun" – but I thought I would share some of these kind words about an incredible artist who worked on a great number of films that I love.
I’ve been telling people for the last year or so to keep an eye out for "Snakes On a Plane" — perhaps the most ludicrous, yet direct title to come down the development highway since the mid-sixties.
