Sorry, we’ve been so shy on content lately!  Mike had to leave town on family business – and we contributors did not pick up the slack.  So for starters, see if you can name all the films alluded to in this picture.

Not to say anything bad about my beloved Threadless – but there is a new t-shirt site, Oddica – that seems to have slightly more artist friendly policies… like royalties in perpetuity, artists sharing in company equity, up to 8 color printing instead of 4, etc.  The non-open voting system means they are working with fewer artists – but I think some good stuff is going to come out of this…

For those too impatient – or too uncabled – to wait for the June BBC America premiere of "Spaced" – make with the clickie to watch the entire first episode.

To this I can only say: "Whoa, something smells, Dude."

For those who don’t know – many of the contributors to this site are all wacky for "BSG" (aka "Battlestar Galactica").  So these renditions of the show’s characters drawn in the style of the Simpsons should amuse US, if no one else.

An actual outtake from "Star Wars" (yeah, yeah, I just can’t force myself to call it "A New Hope") has surfaced and is available on YouTube.  And as much as I kept expecting them to kiss, and have it turn into a "Brokeback Mountain" parody – it appears to be the real thing.

Mark your calendars boy and girls, because "Spaced" is finally coming to a television screen near you!  If you liked "Shaun of the Dead," then you’ll really enjoy this earlier teaming of Simon Pegg, Edgar Wright and the brilliant Jessica Stevenson.  June 23rd on BBC America.

This is from the menu screen to the new McSweeney’s DVD magazine "Wholphin"…. Apparently this feller took the time to learn "Stairway To Heaven" backwards… and then played it back all David Lynch Stylee.  Nice.
