A View of the Giant PizzaLast night, I met my match in pizza form. 3′ wide, over 7 sq. feet of total pizza area. This pie bested me & 10 of my compadres. Have a closer look at this mammoth pizza here - with a person next to it, for a sense of scale (identity hidden to protect the innocent, of course.)

BBQ Season is upon us! {not that it ever really ends here in Los Angeles… being a desert & all } This is a great time to brush up on your grilling skills & perhaps even learn that everything you know about grilling is wrong.

I’ve been enjoying Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burgers recently & they are quite good as far as veggie burgers go. But, I have to say that the package is design is dang-near deplorable. And on the back is this guy’s sad looking face.
