    Creative folk share the stuff on their desks at On My Desk. {brilliant}

    We Are All Photographers Now - a project with the Swiss museum Musée de l’Elysée accepts uploaded files from anyone & adds directly to their gallery display (and, hence, permanent collection). { 100 images are randomly added per week. }

    Jim sent this great link about printing 8mm & 16mm film with an inkjet printer. {sweet!}

    6:21 am | Mike Hanttula writes:

    Denis Darzacq’s photo series "La Chute" ("The Fall") is rocking my world.
    So simple in theory; so completely rad.

    5:13 am | Mike Hanttula writes:

    Jim sends another reason why it’s great to live in NYC:
    BuyYourFriendADrink.com lets you celebrate with faraway friends
    (by… you guessed it… buying them a drink a one of their local bars)

    I can’t bring myself to use Twitter {no one needs to know what I’m up to at every moment — I’m either not that interesting -or- so interesting that I’d blow. your. mind.}. However, in place of my ramblings, you can view the one-line submissions of Stephen Colbert. {they call those submissions "tweets," but I also can’t bring myself to use that term.}

    World Processor shows 3D globes of Earth with a wide variety of interesting statistics superimposed over the countries/geographic regions. Fascinating!

    The Visual Dictionary is a collection of words in the real world. Might seem simplistic at first; but the more you view, the more fascinated that you’ll become.

    Secret Fun Spot has all kinds of Vintage/Retro "Culture" galleries (mostly of novelty items & packaging from the 70’s)
    I especially enjoy Fake Star Wars {maybe because I was given a number of these knock-off toys}

    WuTangCorp.com has 215 free downloads of demo & misc. unreleased tracks from ODB, Method Man, RZA, Ghostface, etc. Not a bad collection; but my favorite track so far is ODB & Macy Gray covering "Don’t Go Breaking My Heart" (and, yeah, it’s almost unlistenable)

    Don’t get too comfortable.
    In case you were momentarily feeling good about the world, there’s always AlertMap and Global Incident Map to bring you down.
    { showing displays of real-time displays of major disasters or "terrorism events and other suspicious activity" }
