    In the past, we have given much ink (okay, pixels) to the illustrious NaNoWriMo - well now it has a new partner Script Frenzy - a peer-based motivational tool to help you pump out a first draft screenplay during the month of June.  Sign up today!

    In one simple, continuous shot - enjoy this mini-vacation to a Tokyo Kaiten Zushi restaurant.

    It is time once again, for me to shill for Threadless - and their limited time $10 summer sale.  It’s been a slow couple of months for them in terms of quality designs - but they have introduced a couple of good ones in the last two weeks (I particularly like "Sacrifice", "Deer Organ" and "Caged II - A Prequel").

    Here’s a post that has an audio track mixing M.I.A. with Super Mario Bros. Brilliant — if you’re into both those things. { there’s also a cover of Human League’s "Don’t You Want Me?" as it would sound IF it was in a 1980’s video game }

    Here’s a strange & confusingly fun Flash game: it’s a cross between archery & golf and, for some reason, you’re a cat. { just click "Go!" and use your mouse to draw back the bow to aim for the target/hole } The game is fun enough that you won’t mind the low-quality graphics after some time.

    Don’t like how lightbulbs heat up your home during the summer months? Just build your own ice bulb.

    I don’t know of anyone that’s a fan of "club cards" (those grocery store cards that are required for discounts that used to just be "in-store specials"). As contempt for them grew, so did the number of stores using them; leaving customers with a wallet full of plastic, barcode-covered cards. Now, the site Just One Club Card lets you print out a single card for multiple stores. Brilliant.
